EquiFriends - how riders are selected
Currently, we are trying to place riders in the program as we are able to evaluate them. Remember that the youngest riders we are able to serve must be 4 year olds before beginning to ride. To place a potential rider on the waiting list, please call the office at 425-377-0802 and ask to speak with Carrie.
Information for Prospective Riders:
If you are interested in therapeutic riding at EquiFriends, you must fill out the following forms prior to riding:
- Physician's Permission Form
- Therapist's Assessment form
- Emergency Medical Release
- Rider/Parent/Guardian/Custodian Liability Release
- Authorization to Release Information form
- Photo Release forms
All forms must be signed and turned in prior to being registered for classes.
Once you have completed and turned in all forms, the office will call you to schedule an instructor evaluation. We will set a time for you to come out and visit, and one of our instructors and our Physical Therapist will give you an orientation to the facility and assess your capabilities to ride. This allows us to place you in the most appropriate class.
